TrustDice vs Stake: documents, VPN and licence, side by side

TrustDice and Stake are both Curaçao-licensed crypto casinos with a sportsbook, and they treat documents and connections in opposite ways. Stake's terms tie every withdrawal to identity verification; our own TrustDice account withdrew crypto with no verification until about 5,000 USDT.

The short answer. Pick TrustDice if what you want is crypto withdrawals without paperwork for as long as possible: our own account got to about 5,000 USDT before anything was asked. Pick Stake if you want the bigger name and can live with terms that put identity verification in front of every withdrawal. If neither fits, Vave — our advertiser — sits between the two: a Curaçao licence, 90 coins at the cashier, and no ID requested on our own account up to 5,000 USDT.

Licence: both Curaçao, both Active

On licence alone there is nothing to choose between TrustDice and Stake. Stake holds OGL/2024/1451/0918 from the Curaçao Gaming Authority, issued to Medium Rare N.V., and the register showed it as Active on 26 August 2026. TrustDice holds OGL/2024/664/0280, issued to Satoshi Gaming Group N.V. on 16 July 2024, also Active on the same day — and it shows up in a second register as well, with an Anjouan record, ALSI-202605020-FI1, held by Satoshi Labs Ltd and valid to 14 May 2027.

Two licences do not make TrustDice twice as safe. They do mean that, in a TrustDice vs Stake comparison, neither brand can be ruled out on paperwork, and the choice comes down to how each one treats your account.

Documents: where TrustDice and Stake differ most

Stake writes the check down. Its terms say, at clause 4.8, that withdrawals require identity verification, that documents can be requested at any time to establish who you are and where you are, and that service, payments or withdrawals can be restricted until that is settled. There is no amount below which a withdrawal goes out unchecked, so the sensible assumption is that your first Stake withdrawal comes with a document request.

TrustDice writes nothing down, and on our account the check came late. When we played TrustDice with our own money in May 2026, USDT deposits landed quickly and crypto withdrawals went out in ten to fifteen minutes each, with no verification of any kind until the running total reached about 5,000 USDT. Then the next withdrawal stopped at payment under review, a Veriff check followed, and after it TrustDice asked for the same documents again by email.

So the TrustDice vs Stake difference is not that one checks and the other never does. Stake tells you in writing that the check comes before the money; TrustDice left it unsaid, and on our account it arrived at about 5,000 USDT. The full sequence is in the TrustDice review.

VPN and location

Stake's terms call location masking a violation. Clause 14.4, read on 27 August 2026, names hiding or changing your location as a breach of the terms, and terms like that are what an operator relies on when it closes an account or holds a balance.

TrustDice did not object on our account. We played TrustDice over a VPN in May 2026 and it never blocked the account for it; the document round that came later arrived with the 5,000 USDT total, not with the connection. We have not read what TrustDice's own terms say about VPNs, so this is how it behaved for us rather than a promise, and it is not advice to play anywhere your local rules do not allow.

Games, coins and extras

TrustDice live casino lobby with roulette, blackjack and baccarat tables from Evolution, CreedRoomz and Winfinity
Live tables from three studios on the day: Evolution, CreedRoomz and Winfinity.

Both brands run a sportsbook next to the casino and both have live dealers. Stake adds provably fair games and a VIP programme. TrustDice has its own dice and originals, 43 game studios in its published list, live tables from Evolution, CreedRoomz and Winfinity on the day we captured the lobby, nine coins including its own TXT token, and a 500% welcome bonus spread over three deposits. We hold no coin list and no studio count for Stake, so this page does not score the two lobbies against each other — a number we have not opened would only decorate the table.

TrustDice vs Stake: which one to choose

  • You want to withdraw crypto without documents for as long as possible: TrustDice, on our own result — or Vave, where no ID was asked up to 5,000 USDT.
  • You want everything in writing, including the check: Stake, whose terms say plainly that withdrawals need verification.
  • You play over a VPN: Stake's terms rule it out; TrustDice did not object on our account.
  • You want a longer coin list than either: Vave's cashier declares 90 cryptocurrencies.

Is TrustDice or Stake better if you want to avoid KYC?
TrustDice, on the evidence we have. Stake's terms say withdrawals require identity verification (clause 4.8). Our own TrustDice account withdrew crypto with no verification until the running total reached about 5,000 USDT, in May 2026 — one account's result, since TrustDice publishes no threshold.
Does Stake allow VPN?
No. Stake's terms name location masking a violation of the terms (clause 14.4, read on 27 August 2026). TrustDice never blocked our account for playing over a VPN in May 2026; what its own terms say about VPNs we have not read.
Are TrustDice and Stake licensed?
Both hold Curaçao Gaming Authority licences that showed as Active on 26 August 2026: TrustDice under OGL/2024/664/0280, held by Satoshi Gaming Group N.V., and Stake under OGL/2024/1451/0918, held by Medium Rare N.V. TrustDice also has a second record in the Anjouan register.
